It's happening again.
Just like with my IUI, my response to injectables is out of control.
I got the phone call today that I knew I was going to get, but had hoped I wouldn't.
My estradiol is already too high. After only 3 days on stims, it is almost 400. They don't like to see it that high until at least day 5 or 6. I will be going in for b/w and u/s everyday until I trigger. I didn't have an u/s this morning because they thought it would be too early to see anything, obviously that isn't the case. I hope to find out more tomorrow. I also had to drop my dose of Gonal f tonight to 75 iu. I knew this was going to happen. Please just let me get through this!
Just trying to catch up after returning from my camping trip. I am so sorry that things aren't going as smoothly as they could. I think it is a good sign that they are catching this early and doing b/w and u/s everyday to keep things safe and SUCCESSFUL. You WILL get through this!
ReplyDeleteAt least they are going to watch you like a hawk to make sure things progress better. Will be thinking good thoughts.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a great doctor that is on top of things! Keeping you in my thoughts....
ReplyDeleteMy last cycle - after 5 days of stims - my E2 was 754, and that was our successful one. I hope that the lower dose does the trick. Hang in there! I know this is so hard.
ReplyDeleteAlso - remember that the first ultrasound won't show all of the follicles that will be there in the end.
Ah, crap! Thank goodness they are getting you in and keeping their eye on that number! Good luck, my dear. Deep breath! XO
ReplyDeleteThe exact same thing happened to me on my last ivf cycle. Some of us respond crazy to these drugs. Hopefully the doctor can get it under control since you are still in early phase of stims. I will be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts.
ReplyDeleteIf you go back to my january cycle on my blog, i was dealing with the same thing. I think my estrogen was like 570 on day 3. I FREAKED out. Luckily, because they knew how I responded etc they dropped my dosage considerably and we were able to keep it in check (although I still ended up with an E2 of 4,500 or so at the end). They just monitored really closely and all worked out great. Your Dr knows how you work now and hindsight is 20/20 so they will be all over it. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see they are all over your baby making parts like white on rice!! Hopefully the lower does will do the trick. Sending good vibes your way!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad they are keeping on top of it. I hope they get everything under control and you end up with lots of perfect follies.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you! At least they are staying on top of it and hopefully the lower doses do the trick.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, nothing's easy, is it? I'll be thinking good thoughts for you!
